Under his leadership, the credit union has been at the forefront of innovation. Highlights include being the first credit union in Maine to offer contactless debit cards, the first credit union (and just the fourth financial institution) in the country to implement the Alexa Banking Skill, creating one of the most innovative work spaces in Maine with the completion of the credit union’s Operations Center, working to redefine the definition of ‘home’, delivering financial wellness to new audiences and avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach to this concept, being the first credit union in Maine to offer Apple Pay, and check imaging ATMs and dialogue/pod banking. Dave’s passion for innovation includes empowering employees to “think differently and beyond traditional banking,” to better serve the needs of members now and in the future. As a workplace, Dave has led Town & Country to be recognized as one of the ‘Best Credit Unions to Work For’ in the country for the past four years, and one of the Best Workplaces in Maine for eight consecutive years. For Dave, the process is almost as important as the result, and his drive to learn and explore is what makes tomorrow always more exciting than today.
